Jonathan Drori says every pollen grain has a story. And how true that is. In this youtube video he talks a lot about how each pollen granule has a very specific footprint and path and thus can tell us exactly where it came from. The really cool thing is that pollen’s embedded in nearly every object, so guess what? It’s a totally accurate predictor of where each object came from, so now scientists can determine the earlier whereabouts of murder suspects, antique furniture, dollar bills of drug lords, etc.. This is truly fascinating and I hope it spurs further thought for the rest of you as it did for me!
